Aria2 Manager v2.0 has been launched on the Microsoft Store, bringing several important updates.
Task Management Interface
Aria2 Manager v2.0 uses the latest WebView2 component technology and integrates the task management front-end AriaNG, which is independent of the browser and makes task management more convenient. Users can open or hide the management interface by clicking the tray icon, and click the Close button in the management window to completely close the task management interface to save memory resources.
Compared with the widely used Electron framework, the WebView2 component saves more memory and disk usage, and the WebView2 component can be kept up to date through system updates.
Tip: For Windows 10 users, if you cannot open the task management front-end, please check whether the system has Microsoft Edge WebView Runtime installed. Installation address: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2
Download status reminder
When the task management window is hidden (hidden by clicking the minimize button or tray icon), users can hover the cursor to the tray icon to view the Aria2 download status, or set the information and format to be displayed through General Settings->Page Title. At the same time, when Task Notification is enabled, a task completion notification will also pop up (requires WS/WSS protocol).
Edit configuration file
Users can directly open and modify the Aria2 configuration file through the right-click menu, and it will take effect after reloading.
Log window
Closing the log window will no longer cause the entire program to exit, but will only hide the log window. The entire program can only be exited through the menu.
